Description
Pantyffynnon Signal Box is a structure built with dark brick for the locking room and porch, complemented by horizontal weatherboarding and small-frame glazing in the operating room. It features gabled slate roofs adorned with bargeboards and finials, along with ventilators underneath. The track side has extensive glazing with horizontally sliding 3 + 2 pane sashes and short grabrails on the outer bays. A name-plate is positioned beneath the center windows. The locking room includes fixed timber windows arranged in a 3x4-pane configuration, and a door is located beneath an open-tread timber stair with a handrail that leads to a cantilevered landing for the first-floor porch.
