Description
The barn at Pwllagddu is a Grade II listed structure featuring a range built from whitewashed rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It likely has two construction phases, with the right end being an addition. The left half of the barn includes double doors supported by a heavy oak lintel, along with long vent loops on each side. The right section has full-height double doors on the left and a low arched entry on the right, which features a brick arch that has been blocked for a window and door. There are outside steps leading to a loft door on the right end wall. A slate pentice extends from the eaves on four timber brackets above both barn doors. Additionally, a former cart-entry is covered by a much larger slated roof supported by metal posts, likely added in the 20th century.
