Description

Cwrt-y-plas is a farmhouse with a lower outbuilding located to the left. It is constructed from purple Sawdde stone with sandstone quoins and features a slate roof with 20th-century stone end wall stacks. The roof has a pronounced overhang at the gables and eaves. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range, with 20th-century stained wood windows set in original openings, featuring stone voussoirs under stone hoodmoulds. There are small square windows above the long windows below, all of which are 2-light with small panes and one opening top-light. The central doorway has a Tudor arch with a hoodmould and a 20th-century door with a radiating-bar fanlight, topped by a gabled split stone hood. The south end wall has one ground floor window, while the rear has a three-window range with stone voussoirs and 20th-century glazing.

The long outbuilding to the left has a lower slate roof. It features one first-floor triple casement window with stone voussoirs to the right of a stone ridge stack. The ground floor openings have stone hoodmoulds and voussoirs, including a central stable door flanked by two triple casements. At the far left, there is a long hoodmould over a garage door and window, which may have been altered from its original form. Generally, the outbuilding has 20th-century glazing and doors in original openings, and there is a loft opening in the north end wall.
