Description
This is a later 19th-century threshing barn located northwest of the farmhouse at Glanyrafon Ddu Ganol. The barn is tall and constructed of rubble with a slate roof and slated barges. It features two tall entries that are balanced, each with cambered heads and stone voussoirs, and has boarded doors. Each door is flanked by a short loop. To the left, there is a lean-to shed made of stone and timber that conceals two ground floor loops, with a gable loop above. The right gable has a similar arrangement of loops. At the rear wall, there are two lower doors that correspond to those at the front; these have flat heads and stone voussoirs but were blocked when extensions were added to the rear. The barn has a collar beam roof.
