Description
Cwmdu Village Hall is a mid-19th century building with some later alterations. It is a single-storey structure made of whitewashed rubble, featuring a wide cross-range at the rear. The hall has slate roofs with oversailing verges and a plinth.
The front of the building includes two wide horned sash windows that are 8-paned with vertical glazing bars and flat heads, supported by stone voussoirs. There is a small attic window on the left gable, which is a 4-paned casement with a timber lintel.
On the west wall of the rear wing, there is a sash window similar to those on the front, with a cambered brick head. Additionally, there is a large 9-light window at the rear of the wing, also featuring a similar cambered head. A small whitewashed brick extension adjoins the wing, which has a 2-light 4-pane casement on its north wall.
