Description
The churchyard walls and gateway at Llandyfan church are constructed of red sandstone rubble with grey limestone chamfered copings. The western entry features a pointed arch with a coped gable above and is fitted with iron gates. The walls extend south to a canted southwest corner, then continue east, stepping upwards before turning northeast behind the apse and returning east. From the gateway, the northern wall runs a short distance north, then turns northeast and east, stepping up again before turning north with an outlet from the baptistery, and finally extending east to meet the embanked hillside north of the church.
