Description
Kings is a mid to late 19th century farmhouse, featuring whitewashed stucco and a central projection made of painted cut Cilgerran stone with a pediment. The roof is covered with lozenge slates and has flat eaves supported by paired brackets, along with brick stacks at the ends. The pediment and gable ends also have similar brackets, and there are slate courses across the gable ends. The building is two-storey with a three-window main range and single-storey, one-window wings.
The central projection includes a broad 16-pane sash window on the first floor at the front, with chamfered angle piers, a slate sill band, and an 8-pane sash window on the side walls. The ground floor features an arched doorway with cut voussoirs and chamfered angles, leading to a recessed door. There are 12-pane sash windows on each floor on either side, with the lower windows being larger and cambered-headed. The wings also have similar 12-pane sash windows, brick end stacks, and matching eaves and gable ends. The main range has a rear wing with 20th-century end stacks and ground floor lean-tos, as well as a stair light on the south side.
