Description
This is a 19th-century range of outbuildings at Hilton Farm, constructed from rubble stone and whitewashed. The western end features a taller lofted stable with an asbestos roof, a cambered-arched door in the center, a window to the left, and a small loft opening beneath the eaves above. There is one loft window in the western end wall, although the loft floor has been removed. The lower range to the left has a grouted slate roof and is lofted at the eastern end. It includes a sequence of windows, a door, and another window, followed by a loft light under the eaves, and a cambered-arched cart entry with a brick head. Inside the cartshed, there are five reused heavy oak beams. External steps lead up to the loft at the eastern end.
