Description
The coach-house and stable range on the east side of the stable courtyard at Cresselly House is a mostly two-storey service building made of rubble. It includes a coach-house and carpenter's workshop at the northern end, and stables and a granary at the southern end. The structure consists of three sections that step down towards the south end, all featuring slate roofs and wave-pattern bargeboards.
The taller northern block has six windows and is cement-rendered with false quoins. It features six-pane sash windows on the first floor and twelve-pane sash windows on the ground floor, which flank large boarded door entrances to the coach-house and stables. The coach-house has segmental-headed gates, while the stables have a four-pane overlight and brick chimney stacks.
To the right, set back and stepped down, is a long three-window range with a colourwashed rubble front. This section has camber-headed brick red voussoirs above windows and doors, including small-pane sashes and split boarded stable doors, with a sliding door to the right. Stepping down further to the south end is a four-bay single-storey range, also with a colourwashed front and boarded stable doors. The south gable end shows the outline of a gable for a now lost further range at this end.
