Description

159 Charles Street is a two-storey building constructed with roughcast and slate roofs, while No. 159 features concrete tiles. The chimney stacks are rendered, and No. 157 has brick stacks. Each house has two windows, with 12-pane sashes on the upper floor and 16-pane sashes on the lower floor, positioned to the left of an arched doorway that has a door with a radiating bar fanlight. The front wall is low and roughcast, topped with spearhead iron railings. Nos. 155 to 159 have stucco door hoods, while No. 161 has stucco surrounds for the door and windows. Nos. 155 and 161 feature four-panel doors, while the other houses have 20th-century doors. No. 157 has 20th-century windows.
