Description

Hamilton House is a house built around 1800, constructed of stucco with a slate roof. The end wall chimneys have been removed. The building features three storeys and a two-window front, with cambered-headed tripartite 4-8-4-pane sash windows on the ground and first floors. These windows are set in vertical panels that extend up to the sill of the upper 4-pane sashes, which sit above a plinth below the ground floor sills.

On the east side, there is an entry with a door and a 12-pane sash window on each floor, positioned to the right. The door has distinctive octagonal panels and is located beneath a corniced columned porch. The rear supports of the porch are original, while the rest has been replaced to imitate the original design.
