Description
Attached house, colourwashed roughcast cladding, with slate roof and brick stack with nogged brick capping to right. Three-storey, 2-window range, offset to left. Attic has small 6-pane sash windows set under eaves and immediately over 2 tall first floor 12-pane sash windows. Doorway to left of ground floor and paired 12-pane sash windows to right. Basement shallow vent and 3-pane top-hinged light. Fine classical doorcase with 3/4 Ionic columns, pulvinated frieze and pediment with dentils. Panelled reveals, 4-panelled door and overlight with metal tracery. Roof was of cemented slates in 1978.
Entrance hall to side of front room, with Greek-key ceiling border and acanthus-leaf ceiling rose. Panelled elliptical arch to stair-hall, stairs at right angles, single flight to landing with stick balusters, tapered square newel, closed string. Front room has similar ceiling border to hall, rear room has foliage and fruit pattern to border, and C19 iron grate. Basement has blocked door on street front. Six-panel doors to first floor.
