Description
The Old School and Schoolteacher's House form an L-shaped group, with the house positioned blind-back to the school. The house is two storeys tall, while the school is a single storey. The house features a small front wing and faces a private garden to the south, with the school and its yard located to the north.
Both buildings are constructed from hammer-dressed limestone, incorporating large irregular stones alongside smaller masonry in informal courses, topped with slate roofs. The chimneys are made of similar masonry. The school is characterized by tall windows arranged in pairs, each with two-centred arched heads. The house features sash windows with lintels and two-centred relieving arches made from the same limestone as the rest of the structure. The main door of the house also has a two-centred arch.
