Description
The stable at the south end of the yard at Gellideg dates from the early or possibly late 18th century. It is constructed from rubble stone and features old slates on the rear roof, while the front is covered with corrugated iron and has a hipped roof to the west. The front elevation includes three arched windows with rough stone voussoirs and slate sills, above four blocked basement openings with cambered heads. There are two rows of dove-holes with slate shelves positioned above these openings. The west end wall has a door on the left and a loading door in the center for the first floor. The rear of the building has three square loft lights, two of which are blocked with concrete blocks.
