Description

The Cross Inn is a two-storey public house, likely dating to the 18th century, with a modern double-wing extension to the rear. The front elevation has four windows, with one window above the right-hand door being a later addition. The exterior is rendered and scored, and painted. The roof is slate, with a tile ridge. The building has rendered and capped end chimneys. Modern sash windows with 12 panes are fitted. The main entrance door is located to the left of the centre and features four panels. A set of double doors leads to the lounge on the right. Originally, a pub sign was fixed to the southeast corner of the building. This has been replaced by a painted pub sign of traditional design above the entrance and a similar sign on the left gable wall.
