Description

The byre at Greenway Farm is an early 19th-century building, designed as a low linear range that runs opposite and parallel to the farmhouse. It is constructed from limewashed rubble and features a gabled slate roof over the outhouse, which has been replaced with asbestos on the byre.

On the right side, there is a plank door leading to the outhouse, and to the left, a Victorian sash window with timber lintels but no sill. The byre has a doorway for the feed passage on the left, accompanied by a small unglazed window. Additionally, there is a doorway to the stalls located at a lower level in the downslope gable end.
