Description
2 The Slade is a semi-detached house that is part of a pair, built from stone rubble and featuring a hipped slate roof with end stacks. The house stands two stories tall and has a three-window range overall. However, No 2 includes the leftmost upper window, which is centrally positioned above a window and a door, while No 1 has a more evenly spaced two-window range. The windows have mid-20th century glazing, and the door is also from the 20th century, with red brick cambered heads above.
The front gardens are enclosed by a rendered wall that has rounded capping, along with gate piers topped with slate caps. The entrance features paired wrought iron gates that have spear-head finials and dog-bars, with downcurved top-rails and scroll-topped side rails. Notably, the pebble-dash cladding, door, and overlight mentioned in a previous listing are no longer present.
