Description
The former Caldey Island school is a single-storey building constructed with a timber frame, featuring painted board cladding and a hipped roof made of asbestos tiles. It has a brick chimney on the north slope. At the west end and south side, there is an open veranda, each consisting of three bays supported by square posts, with slightly cambered heads above the openings. The windows are small paned casements. The east end has a triple casement window on each side of a glazed double door. On the south side, there is a four-light casement window on each side of the door. The north side features a board door to the left, a leaded single casement window, a pair of casement windows, and a four-light casement window to the right, which is recessed in the veranda. The west end has two triple casements. The building has not been inspected.
