Description
Carreg Lwyd is an early 19th-century single-storey cottage built from colourwashed rubble stone. It features a stone stack at the west end and a larger stone stack at the original east end, topped with an asbestos sheet roof. The north front of the cottage has a tiny fire-window on the left, a ledged door, and a large casement window on the right. There is a 20th-century addition at the east end that matches the original roof height and is rendered with two 20th-century windows. The west end wall includes a small loft light, while the rear south wall has a large 20th-century window. A benchmark is located on the northeast corner. Inside, there is a large chimney breast at the east end with a timber lintel and a croglofft at the west end.
