Former Kennels at Llanerchaeron (previously listed as sited at Llanaeron Home Farm)

The former kennels at Llanerchaeron, previously listed as situated at Llanaeron Home Farm, is a building constructed from rubble with a half-hipped slate roof and a brick chimney at the eastern end. The eastern portion of the building extends the range of the western part at the front but is shallower at the rear to accommodate a granary stair. The western range contains three chambers, while the eastern range has four, resulting in eight front openings. The front courtyards for the entire range are enclosed by rubble walls, with a rounded southeast angle. At the southwest angle, there is an attached single-storey gabled building featuring a southern brick chimney, a western door, and a curved southwest angle. There is a window to the east of the range with a timber lintel and boarded shutters. The western end has two small windows and a long ladder store, which follows the gable and forecourt wall, topped with a pent slate roof supported by wooden brackets. The courtyards predominantly have bricked floors, while the eastern courtyard features a radiating pitched stone floor and a sunken slate tank.

The roof of the earlier western range consists of about five bays. The higher rear wall means that the end of the collar-beam is pegged to a bracketed wall-post. The eastern range has a lean-to roof supported by posts and angle-struts upon cross beams. The room at the eastern end contains a copper boiler.
