Description

Gateway Buildings No 4 is part of an L-plan courtyard group of simple vernacular houses, one of several in the town, with at least four leading off this street. Nos 1 to 3 are terraced, while No 4 is positioned at right angles and linked by a rubble wall. The building has been renovated and features a two-storey, two-window facade made of rubble with brick dressings, slate roofs, and brick chimney stacks. It has casement windows, modern doors that have been repositioned to the right of No 2, and a modern extension to the left of No 4.
