Description
7 Tabernacle Street is a two-storey building that dates back to the early 19th century, part of the original town plan developed around the harbour area. It appears on the circa 1845 Tithe Map.
The building features a group of three-window fronts with rusticated quoins at the end of the terrace and pilaster strips on No 7. The roofs are slate, hipped at the corner, and there are five cement render chimney stacks, one of which is heightened in brick, along with one rubble chimney stack. The windows are recessed sash types with glazing bars, except for No 7, which has different detailing. The lintels on No 6 have a distinct design, while No 7 features cambered heads. The doors are recessed and have a lugged and panelled architrave at No 7.
