Description
Greenways is a mid-19th century house featuring a symmetrical frontage in the late Georgian style. It is constructed of coursed stone with tooled grey stone quoins and matching stacks, topped by a slate gabled eaves roof. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with a central round-arched entrance that includes a radiating-bar fanlight above a panelled timber door, which has round heads on the taller upper panels. Access to the door is via three stone steps. The remaining openings consist of 12-pane hornless timber sashes, set within stucco reveals and featuring painted stone sills. The stacks have projecting caps.
To the left, there is a small single-storey extension that links with the adjacent property, Ardwyn. This extension is made of rubble stone and has a pitched slate roof. It features a door beneath a timber lintel, positioned to the right of a large window opening that contains paired 6-pane 20th-century casements, topped with a flat lintel and a stone sill.
The property was not available for inspection at the time of the survey.
