Description

The retaining walls at Ysgoldy Fach are constructed of high rubble stone and stand approximately 3 metres tall. The roadside wall runs parallel to the front of the school. It features thin slab tabling with copings made of rounded vertically-laid stone slabs. The wall extends a short distance to the right, where it meets a later playground wall that has similar copings and includes a central gateway. To the right, the retaining wall slopes down to ground level, creating a ramped entry to the gate.
