Description
The walls and railings of Llys-y-Coed date from the early 20th century and are located flanking the road. The railings feature a central opening that serves as a garden entrance, which includes six stone steps leading down. There are moulded newel posts at the top of the steps, with urns on those posts. Contemporary rubble walls extend approximately 20 meters from the ends of the railed section, standing about 1.80 meters high. At the northern end, the walls curve inward to form an entrance with rough-dressed limestone flank walls and boarded gates. Beyond this entrance, the wall continues along the roadside for another 15 meters, sloping up to a height of about 3 meters and ending at the junction with the walls of Tros-y-Parc, where there is a second pair of boarded gates.
