Description

Oak Ridge is a detached, two-story house dating from the 19th century. It is double-fronted, with a gabled slate roof and end stacks. The right side of the house is built of rubble stone, while the left side is roughcast. The eaves are bracketed, and the entire building is rendered white. The front elevation features two 12-pane hornless sash windows on each floor, with slate sills. A central 6-panel door, with a plain rectangular overlight, is recessed slightly, and the door frame is chamfered and stopped. The end walls have no windows and feature overhanging verges. There is no outshut to the rear.

The interior is from the 19th century, with a central hall and staircase. Two upstairs doors open at a 45-degree angle into the rooms from a small landing. A cellar is believed to have been used as a kitchen beneath the right side of the house.
