Description
10 Victoria Street is a simple classical building dating from the 19th century, featuring two storeys and a three-window front, except for Nos 10 and 11, which have a two-window front. The building has advanced hipped roof end pavilions at Nos 10, 11, and 19. The fronts of Nos 12 to 15 are roughcast, while Nos 16 to 19 have scribed render, with No 19 displaying rustication. There are end pilaster strips and rusticated quoins, and No 14 also features a plinth and eaves band. The roofs are covered in slate, stepped up for Nos 15 to 18, and No 19 has ridge cresting. The building has wide boarded eaves and ten chimney stacks made of brick, rubble, and cement render. Most windows are 12-pane sash windows with lugged architraves and ornamental keystones, and the entrances have similar detailing with recessed panelled doors. No 15 has a bracketed hood above its entrance.
The right side of No 19 has scribed render and a later lean-to addition, while the extensions to the rear are not of special interest.
