Description
18 Victoria Street is a simple classical building dating from the 19th century, featuring two storeys and a three-window front, except for Nos 10 and 11, which have a two-window front. The building has advanced hipped roof end pavilions at Nos 10, 11, and 19. The fronts of Nos 12 to 15 are roughcast, while Nos 16 to 19 have scribed render, with No 19 also displaying rustication. There are end pilaster strips and rusticated quoins, and No 14 includes a plinth and eaves band. The roofs are slate, stepped up from Nos 15 to 18, and No 19 has ridge cresting. The eaves are wide boarded, and there are ten chimney stacks made of brick, rubble, and cement render. The windows are mainly 12-pane sash windows with lugged architraves and ornamental keystones. The entrances feature similar detailing with recessed panelled doors, and No 15 has a bracketed hood.
On the right side of No 19, there is scribed render with a later lean-to, while the extensions to the rear are not of special interest.
