Victoria Hotel PH

The Victoria Hotel Public House is a simple classical building dating from the 19th century. It is two storeys high with a three-window front, except for Nos 10 and 11, which have a two-window front. The building features advanced hipped roof end pavilions at Nos 10, 11, and 19. The front of Nos 12 to 15 is roughcast, while Nos 16 to 19 have scribed render, and No 19 is rusticated. The building has end pilaster strips and rusticated quoins, with No 14 also featuring a plinth and eaves band. The roofs are covered in slate, stepped up from Nos 15 to 18, and No 19 has ridge cresting. There are wide boarded eaves and ten chimney stacks made of brick, rubble, and cement render. The windows are mainly 12-pane sash windows with lugged architraves and ornamental keystones. The entrances have similar detailing, with recessed panelled doors and a bracketed hood at No 15.

On the right side of No 19, there is scribed render with a later lean-to addition. The extensions at the rear of the building are not of special interest.
