12 Victoria Street

12 Victoria Street is a simple classical building dating from the 19th century. It features a two-storey design with three-window fronts, except for Nos 10 and 11, which have two-window fronts. The building has advanced hipped roof end pavilions at Nos 10, 11, and 19. The fronts of Nos 12 to 15 are roughcast, while Nos 16 to 19 have scribed render, with No 19 also displaying rustication. The building includes end pilaster strips and rusticated quoins, with No 14 additionally featuring a plinth and an eaves band. The roofs are slate, stepped up from Nos 15 to 18, and No 19 has ridge cresting. There are wide boarded eaves and ten chimney stacks made of brick, rubble, and cement render.

The windows are mainly 12-pane sash windows with lugged architraves and ornamental keystones. The entrances have similar detailing, featuring recessed panelled doors, with No 15 having a bracketed hood. The right side of No 19 has scribed render and a later lean-to addition. The extensions to the rear are not of special interest. This building is included for its group value.
