Description
11 Victoria Street is a simple classical building dating from the 19th century. It features a two-storey structure with three-window fronts, except for Nos 10 and 11, which have a two-window front. The building has advanced hipped roof end pavilions at Nos 10, 11, and 19. The fronts of Nos 12 to 15 are roughcast, while Nos 16 to 19 have scribed render, and No 19 is rusticated. There are end pilaster strips and rusticated quoins, with No 14 also displaying a plinth and eaves band. The roofs are covered with slate, stepped up at Nos 15 to 18, and No 19 features ridge cresting. The eaves are wide boarded, and there are ten chimney stacks made of brick, rubble, and cement render.
Most windows are 12-pane sash style with lugged architraves and ornamental keystones. The entrances have similar detailing, featuring recessed panelled doors, with No 15 having a bracketed hood. The right side of No 19 has scribed render and a later lean-to addition, while the extensions to the rear are not of special interest.
