Description

Ancorfa is a group of four simple classical two-storey buildings, constructed with different finishes. The outer two buildings are roughcast and feature three windows each, while the inner two have scribed render and two windows each. The roofs are slate, with Ancorfa having a hipped roof at the right end. The buildings have boxed eaves and include three rendered stacks and one brick stack. Ancorfa is distinguished by rusticated quoins, while the other buildings have cill bands. The sash windows vary in type and are adorned with lugged architraves and ornamental keystones on the ground floor. The outer doorways also have lugged architraves with keystones, while the inner doorways feature panelled architraves, though all doors are modern. The left end of the building is plain roughcast, and the right end has scribed render, which adjoins "Dolwen" on Victoria Street.
