Description
This is a stone barn with a corrugated roof, located at Gelmast. The walls feature small square ventilation holes, with two rows on the east side facing the yard and one on the west side. The east side is partially obscured by a later addition made of corrugated iron, which has an original door to the left. The north gable includes a boarded door and a loading door above it. The west side has a large barn door in the center, while the south end has a door with a concrete lintel.
At right angles to the south, there is a stone boundary wall of the farmyard that slopes down from approximately 3 meters to about 1.5 meters, with a gatepier at the eastern end. This wall encloses the southern side of the yard and is similar to the wall attached to the cow-house opposite. The barn consists of five bays and has modern softwood trusses.
