Description
Gate Cottage is a house that features painted roughcast and stucco with a slate roof and stone end stacks. It is two storeys high and has a three-window front that is offset to the left. The windows are twelve-pane hornless sash types, complete with painted slate sills and thin stucco eared surrounds. The centre door has a simple timber door surround, which appears to have been replaced in the late 20th century. The right end wall is made of whitewashed rubble, and there is an outshut at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
