Description

Pengarreg Farm Outbuildings form a U-plan group that creates three sides of the farmyard. The buildings are two storeys high, constructed with rubble walls that have rounded corners, and feature steeply pitched slate roofs with half-hipped ends. There are outside steps leading to a boarded door on the left range, with timber-framed openings on the outer side. The inner sides have flat-headed entrances with timber lintels, some of which are blocked, and also have boarded doors. Dovecote openings are arranged in rows at angles. Internally, the roof constructions are simple, supported by low tie beams.

The farmyard is partly cobbled and previously included a butchery that was powered by the river Aeron located below.
