Description

The Northeast Pier is a Grade II listed structure made of coursed rubble. It extends southeast from a concrete reinforced rounded head to the angle near the Harbourmaster Hotel and the northeast quay. The pier features a low rubble protective wall, a pointed projection, a metal ladder, and a rubble flight of steps leading down to the water level. Additionally, there is a flagpole and two cast iron mooring posts that have been reset in the concrete top of the pier.
