Description
Aberdour Harbour is an early 18th century structure that was extended in the 19th century. It features an irregularly shaped pier made of coursed and uncoursed dry rubble, with the rubble secured by pinnnings at the southern pierhead. The western side has a later coped, rubble parapet. The surface of the pier is tarmacked, and there are steps leading down to the pier from the south, north, and northeast. At the southwest pier, there is a workshop and clubhouse that were built from the former weigh house, constructed of uncoursed rubble with a later brick wallhead, various openings, and an irregularly shaped roof covered with green corrugated sheeting. Additionally, there is a brick and timber toilet block from the 1960s located at the far west end.
