Description
Gilfachgoed is a farmhouse constructed of painted rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring 19th-century stone chimneys with stepped caps. The building stands two storeys high and has hornless sash windows. On the upper floor, there are two 9-pane windows that are offset to the left, with a similar window to the right. The ground floor has two windows, also offset to the left, with a 12-pane window on the left and a 16-pane window on the right. The windows are adorned with stone voussoirs and stone cills. Between the ground floor windows, there is a door that has been altered to a casement window, likely in the 19th century, and it features a plaque reading 'D+J 1811' above it. The end gables are decorated with 19th-century verge boards. At the rear, there is an added outshut that is two storeys high, with a projected section to the left that includes a window above a door, and one window in the right section. The property has not been inspected.
