Description
Pentre Mynydd is a small farmhouse dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone that was formerly whitewashed, topped with a slate roof that has close eaves and features two brick chimney stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has a double-fronted design that is notably offset to the right. The entrance is through an off-centre boarded door.
The farmhouse has hornless small-paned sash windows, with nine panes in the upper windows and twelve panes in the lower ones. The lower window openings are adorned with stone voussoirs, while the upper two windows have slab lintels and thin slate sills. At the rear, there is an outshut.
To the left of the main structure, a lower byre has been added, which has a corrugated iron roof and two full-height doors. Inside, the ceilings feature 19th-century joists, but the fireplaces have been removed.
