Description
Pont Blaen is a road bridge made of squared rubble stone, featuring a single shallow arch with flush cut-stone voussoirs. It has rubble parapets on either side, each topped with flat coping and a raised central block that includes a string course beneath an ashlar top coping. The outer faces of the raised sections are adorned with Bath stone ashlar, displaying the coat of arms of Thomas Johnes, which includes a chevron and three birds, flanked by festoons on each side.
