Description
The building is a coach-house and stable located to the west of Llandygwydd Church, constructed from rubble stone with grey Cilgerran stone dressings and a half-hipped slate roof. It stands two storeys high, built into a bank. The upper floor features a two-bay coach house that is open to the north, supported by a timber centre post and timber eaves lintels. The two openings are slightly shouldered by timber inserts at the upper angles. There is an additional coach-house to the left, which has a lower roof and a half-hipped eastern gable with a plain entry.
The western end of the building is taller due to the slope of the ground, featuring a gable vent loop and a lower-level stable. The stable includes a window and door on the west side, both with chamfered surrounds and single-slab lintels. The window is divided into two shouldered lights by timbering. It also has board shutters and a ledged door, along with a plain stone-voussoir window on the south rear side.
