Description

The courtyard at the rear of No 6b Marine Terrace consists of a small group of simple vernacular houses or fisherman's cottages. No 4 is separated from the others by a passage. Nos 4 and 5A are single storey with hipped slate roofs. No 4 features scribed cement render, while No 5A has colourwashed rubble. There is a brick chimney stack on No 4 and a rubble stack on No 5A. Both Nos 4 and 5A have small-pane sash windows located to the left of panelled doors and on their right sides. No 6B is a two-storey building with a whitewashed rubble front, a slate roof, a rubble chimney stack, and slate hung on the right side. It has both sash and casement windows, as well as half-glazed and panelled doors.
