Description
Pencopi is a single-storey cottage with a loft, built in the 18th century using timber framing. It features three windows and has two tiers of box-panelling set on a stone plinth, with the panels filled in with plaster. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and the chimney stack to the left of the center has been rebuilt using blue brick. The entrance is a lobby with a boarded and ledged door. The cottage has wooden 4-pane windows, with a single window to the left of the doorway, a 2-light window to the right, and another single window at the far right. There is also a skylight in the roof pitch. The ends of the cottage have no openings, but there are small skylights in the roof pitch. The rear of the building has been rebuilt in random stone and features a 4-pane window at the far right. To the left, there is a rear porch with a hipped roof, which includes split doors on the right return and a 4-pane wooden window at the front. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
