Description
Milford Villa is a two-storey, three-window house built with painted English garden wall bond brick. It features a gabled slate roof with saw tooth eaves cornice and later ornamental bargeboards topped with finials. The house has brick stacks and six-pane sash windows on the first floor, with shallow upper sashes on the nine-pane ground floor windows. The windows are adorned with brick voussoirs, plain reveals, and stone sills.
There is a well-crafted ironwork open porch with cresting, leading to a part-glazed panelled door and a three-light rectangular fanlight above. The front of the property is enclosed by iron railings set on a brick wall, with a central gate. At the rear, there is a later parallel kitchen range to the left, which has a steeper roof, and the left end elevation is slate hung.
