Description
Bwlch y Garreg is an asymmetrical two-storey building featuring a three-window range, with all openings offset to the left. It has a farm range attached to the right, sharing the same roofline. The structure is made of whitewashed rubble stone and topped with a slate roof, which has brick stacks at each end. The entrance is located to the right of the center and consists of a half-glazed panelled door, sheltered by a later gabled porch canopy supported by timber posts. The house has two windows to the left of the doorway and one window to the right. The windows are moulded wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars, with the left window having four lights and the right window having three lights. Stone hoodmoulds are present above the lower storey windows, while those on the upper storey are positioned just below the eaves. There is also a hoodmould behind the porch canopy, indicating that the doorway may have originally featured an overlight. An adjoining outbuilding has been altered and now includes skylights in the roof pitch. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
