Description
Upper Munlyn Farmhouse is a two-storey building featuring timber framing that is four panels high, set on a stone base, and rendered over with paint from the mid-20th century. The roof is slate. The entrance is located in the re-entrant angle within a lean-to porch. The main parlour is situated in the east-west wing, which appears to be slightly jettied beneath the rendering and includes a hipped and canted bay window that overlooks the garden. There is a lean-to on the west side of the left wing. The farmhouse has a major stack with four star-plan brick flues, along with an additional stack on the left wing. The windows were renewed in the 1990s and are made of timber with paned double glazed inserts. The building was not accessible at the time of inspection in October 1996.
