Description

This is a cast iron fingerpost located at Ditchyeld Bridge in Walton. It features three indicator arms and has a banded black and white post with a moulded capital and knuckle. The post displays raised black lettering on a white background. The top arm points west and indicates "WALTON 1¾ / NEW RADNOR 5", while the middle arm points east marked "KNILL 1 / PRESTEIGNE 4", both with 'B4362' in a box above. The lower arm points north with "BARLAND 1 / EVENJOBB 1½". The post is topped with an annular inscribed 'RADNOR CC' and has no visible foundry marking.
