Description
This is an L-shaped barn range located to the northwest of Upper House, which includes parts of an older structure. The northwest arm consists of five bays and features central full-height opposing doors. The southwest arm has been converted into a cartshed and granary, complete with gable end steps. The building is constructed from coursed rubble and has ventilation slits, an iron roof, and a weatherboarded loft above the open-fronted cartshed bays. Attached to this is a single-storey open-fronted cowshed with a rubble rear wall and an iron roof. The northeast range serves as a two-storey cowhouse and stable block, also made of coursed rubble, with a weatherboarded loft, slate roof, brick cambered lintels, boarded doors, and glazed stable windows.
