Description
The bridge at Fronfraith Mill is a Grade II listed structure featuring two tall, round-headed arches at different heights. The lower arch spans the River Mule, while the higher arch crosses the Kerry branch railway. It is built from roughly coursed grey masonry, with some snecked areas. The arches include voussoirs and keystones, and there are pilasters on the sides and between the arches. A string course runs along the parapet, which has a weathered rubble coping. The roadway, when approached from the east, rises slightly towards the center before falling sharply over the lower span. Return walls extend to each side, with the eastern return wall curving towards the north and continuing for approximately 30 meters while gradually decreasing in height.
