Description
Pentre Farm is a Grade II listed building with an entrance front that faces roughly north, away from the road. The front features an asymmetrical arrangement of three windows. The top floor windows are almost square and set at the eaves, with three-light six-pane casement glazing. The first floor has camber-headed three-light casements, and between the middle and right windows, there is a blocked loading bay door. On the ground floor, the entrance doorway is located between the first and second windows and is sheltered by a gabled porch. To the left of the porch is a tall camber-headed window, and to the right are three camber-headed casement windows.
To the left of the main building, there is a lofted annexe constructed with the same materials, with its ridge in line with the main building. This annexe features brick dressings around a square loft window and a broad camber-headed opening on the ground floor. There is a lean-to garage to the left. To the right of the house is a lean-to former cartshed made of rubble with a slate roof, which has been extended forward in brick.
A small iron-railed forecourt extends from the left wall of the house to just beyond the window to the right of the entrance. The rear elevation facing the road has three windows, with almost square second floor windows featuring six-pane casement glazing. The first floor has similar camber-headed windows, and on the ground floor, there is a central entrance doorway with a modern porch, flanked by a window on each side.
